This Privacy Policy describes how Cold Coffee Apps ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Delhi, India, collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the Nudge mobile application.

1. Data Collection & Usage

A. App Usage & Screen Time Data

To provide usage insights and blocking functionality, we collect data regarding your device usage, including:

• Package Names: The unique identifiers of apps you install.
• Usage Duration: Time spent in specific apps.
• Unlock History: Frequency of device unlocks.

How we use this: This data is processed locally on your device to display your daily dashboard and enforce limits. This data is transmitted to our servers ONLY when you engage the "AI Negotiation" feature described below.

B. AI Negotiation Data (Transmitted)

When you initiate an AI intervention chat, the following data is encrypted and transmitted to our servers (Oracle Cloud, India) and processed by our third-party AI partners:

• User Inputs: The text you type into the chat interface.
• Contextual Usage Data: The specific app you are trying to open, your historical usage of that app, and your aggregated weekly screen time stats.

C. Technical & Device Information

We collect anonymous technical data via Google Firebase to ensure app stability, including:

• Device model, operating system version, and crash logs.
• Subscription status (via Google Play) to unlock Premium features.

2. Data Retention Policy

Our Servers (Stateless)

Cold Coffee Apps operates on a stateless basis regarding AI chats. We do not permanently store your conversation logs or prompts on our servers after the response is generated. We retain only metadata (e.g., request counts) for quota monitoring.

Third-Party AI Providers

Our third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers, located in the United States, may retain anonymized inputs and prompts for a period of up to 30 days. This retention is strictly for safety monitoring and abuse prevention. Your data is not used to train their AI models.

3. Android Permissions

Accessibility Service API

Nudge requires the Accessibility Service permission to function. This API is used solely to detect which application is currently in the foreground. This allows us to overlay the blocking screen when you open a restricted app. We do not use this API to read your screen content, passwords, or messages.

Usage Access Permission

This permission is required to read your system's usage stats to calculate screen time and enforce time limits.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your information with the following third-party vendors solely to facilitate the Service:

• Oracle Cloud (India): Server hosting and infrastructure.
• Artificial Intelligence Providers (United States): For processing natural language responses (LLM services).
• Google Firebase (United States): For analytics, crash reporting, and authentication.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
